Dear Friends and Family,
Thank you for visiting this beautiful web site, originally created and maintained for four years as a gift by our friend Reggie King (read Reggie's original site "dedication").
During these years, this site has been hosted in Emily's memory by another friend, Chris McGee, and is currently hosted through the generosity of Reggie King. The site is now lovingly updated by Emily's aunt, Mary Lee Herrmann.
Within these pages you will find poems, pictures, and messages sent in honor of Emily from her friends and family. There is a section filled with many of Emily's own writings and poems. There are pages of birthday parties held in her honor, pictures of her bench in Baker Park, information about her decision to become an organ and tissue donor, stories about encounters friends and family have had with Emily since her death, and so much more.
Emily had such a heart for others.
Her open heart is her legacy to family and friends:
Love others, don't judge,
and do whatever you can
to help those around you reach their goals
of success and happiness.
Love,
Emily's Mom,
Connie Pryor

Emily's Bench
On April 22, 2004, a beautiful black, wrought iron bench with a plaque dedicated to Emily was installed in Baker Park, next to the picnic area and the pool at Fleming Avenue.
Many of you came to the bench dedication on May 17, 2004 and our family appreciated your presence so much.
Read the article written about the new bench program in the “City Beat” section of Gazette.Net.
